UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE
Alfa Amalia Tulhusni is the full name from Alfa. She is a Sampoerna School of Education’s student and she takes English major. Four months ago, she was a senior high school’s student.
When she was in senior high school, she joined a study tour activity. This activity was created by her teacher. Study tour was held at December 18th 2008.
The students would visit Yogyakarta. The study tour’s committee planed some places that would be visited, they were Ketepas, Borobudur temple, Malioboro, and they would take a rest in the one of hotels in Yogyakarta.
The nice time came. The students brought their equipments to the bus. Alfa and her friends spent many time to go to Yogyakarta. They had been in the bus approximately 15 hours. After arriving in Yogyakarta, they took a rest in the hotel.
Next morning, Alfa and her friends went to Ketepas. They watched a film about Merapi Mountain. After from Ketepas, they went to the Borobudur temple and they took some photos. Then, they continued their tour to go to Malioboro. After finishing the tours, they went to the hotel.
At night, there was a band competition between classes. Alfa’s class prepared their best performance that would be shown in front of the other contestants. By their best performance, Alfa’s class got the second winner. Although Alfa did not join her class’ band but she always supported their friends. Alfa and her friends felt happy and proud because they had shown their best performance. The band competition finished, and the students took a rest in the bedrooms.
In the morning, they had to go to their town. They felt happy for that time, especially Alfa, she would never forget her study tour from her mind.
