Unforgettable Experience

Titiah Dewi Masitoh is a student of Sampoerna School of Education. She gets Tuition Fee scholarship from Sampoerna Foundation. Before she got the scholarship, many experience that she had gotten. One of the several experiences was selection from Sampoerna Foundation and Sampoerna School of Education. The selection was held on 29^th of June 2009, at 8.00 am – 4.00 pm on Monday in Bumi Karsa Hotel at 2^nd floor. It was shinny day but in Jakarta there was crowded with a lot of transportation on the street. She went to the location with her father by motorcycle. Actually, it was difficult to find the location because the building is behind the Bidakara building. So we can’t see it from the street. She and her father was difficulties to find that building, but finally she and her father found it with search and read the building’s name one by one.

On that day, she wanted to into the Bumi Karsa hotel, but her father left her because he wanted to go to work. In front of the building’s door, she met her new friends and came into the building. She and her friends searched the selection room. she found it and got information that she had to follow the step by step of tests. She was so nervous and tightens her self confidence that she can do the best.

The first was Mathematic and English test, mathematic was difficult but she though she can do it. English test was started with listening test and then writing test, she made the story from the topic test easily, after the test paper she had to break 15 minutes and prepared the interview test that was asked by Ms. Mika Camelia and Mr. Obert. When she was started the test, she felt already calm and more confidence to answer the questions. Like how many sisters or brothers that she has?, what is her hobby?, and why does she want to be a teacher and join the Sampoerna School of Education Scholarship?. She answered that she has 1 sister, she likes swimming and reading books and she wants to be a professional teacher that can make a lot of students get more knowledge and be successful person and also hopes that be graduated from Sampoerna School of Education and proud to be a part of Sampoerna Foundation. She hoped that her dream can be realized with Sampoerna School of Education.

She felt that satisfy with her self after be interviewed. She had 15 minutes to break and prepared her self again to discussion test. With her 8 new friends, she began to start the discussion. The topic was how to solve the teacher’s problem like bore and scare to teach the students. In this section, actually she was also be participants to tell her opinions.

She though that time goes fast. She and her friends ought to finish the discussions section. It was 4.00 pm, and she felt satisfy with step by step of the tests because she had done very well and fight to be the best.
