Today (5 October 2009) was the first day of school at Sampoerna School of Education (SSoE). First course that I learned was IELL 1 (Integrated English Language Learning 1). Then I learned IELL 1 every Monday at 1pm to 3.30pm at room 6. Fifteen other students and I were taught by a beautiful teacher. My teacher's name is Mrs. Kun Herrini. Mrs. Kun comes from Yogyakarta. She has a daughter, named Putri. She has teaching experience more than 20 years. Looking at her teaching experience, I believe that Mrs Kun is a qualified teacher, so i would not doubt her ability to teach IELL course. Beside teaching in Sampoerna School of Education, she also taught in Binus University, and STBA LIA. She is very nice and pleasant. I really enjoy every time I have during in the class. She is very good at understanding the students’ desires and difficulties. She is a kind of teachers that are very rare I meet. Every time I learn English, I always feel stressful. I did not dare to speak anything when the lesson is in progress. I am ashamed and afraid. However, given today's first impression is so much fun, I believe Mrs. Kun will be able to help me improve and expedite my ability to speak English, so in the future I can teach mathematics proficient in English well. Perhaps one thing that can help me learn to speak English is changing my opinion that English language is frightening. Mrs Kun makes me believe that I can change my opinion about studying English
